Biography

Billie Zhou is a senior currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Arts Management with a concentration in Visual Arts at Columbia College Chicago, where she maintains a 4.0 GPA. Her academic interests focus on curatorial practice, exhibition management, and arts marketing, reflecting a dedication to bridging creativity with effective cultural organization.

In 2025, Zhou worked as an Exhibition Assistant at the Today Art Museum in Beijing, where she contributed to artist research, exhibition installation, and event coordination. She developed digital materials and 3D diagrams using Microsoft Suite, Adobe Photoshop, and Canva, assisted with communication between artists and curators, and helped organize the exhibition calendar and promotional materials.

At Columbia College Chicago, Zhou has also served as Curator for an exhibition management project and Project Manager for a business plan initiative, experiences that refined her expertise in marketing, event planning, business writing, and financial analysis. She is proficient in Google Suite, social media management (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook), and video editing software, combining her technical versatility with strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Zhou aims to pursue a career in museum and gallery management, integrating her creative insight, digital proficiency, and organizational acumen to promote accessible and engaging art experiences for diverse audiences.
